Chapter 18

Brixon

Iwake up to my phone going off and sunlight blinding me.

“Fuck!” I grumble as I fumble, blindly trying to find my phone, realizing it’s not anywhere near me.

I hesitantly crack my eyes open, still feeling around the couch until my fingers brush against soft flesh and hair.

Hair!

I spring up from the couch just as Liam starts kicking his legs. His heel lands right on my forehead!

“Ow, fucker!” I yell as I grab my head.

“What the fuck man! You can’t grab a man’s cock and balls when he is dead asleep and not get kicked in the face!” Liam shouts.

“What the hell is going on down here?” Emily shouts, coming down the stairs with Evie on her heels, both yawning and wiping the sleep from their eyes, while we freeze in place, looking like deer in headlights.

It finally clicks when I see their eyes widen and dart down to our... well, our lack of clothing.

I snatch the blanket off the couch while Liam frantically grabs two pillows, one covering his butt and the other awkwardly positioned in front of him like a very desperate shield.

“We uh, I uh…” I look to Liam who looks as confused as I do.

The girls burst out laughing.

“It’s cool, you sleep nude. Good to know!” Emily smile widens as she walks towards the kitchen eyeing Liam.

Evie chuckles as another long yawn escapes while she follows behind her friend.

“Holy shit! Thank you, guys, for cleaning up!” I hear Emily holler as they both whisper shout about how perfect we are.

Maybe not the exact words they used, but I heard what I heard!

I look around for my clothes and start to remember why I’m naked. I stripped them off around four this morning when it felt like a fucking sauna in here.

I finally find my phone and see I have a missed call from Noah.

I tap on his name and hit dial to call him back while also struggling to dress at the same time.

He answers on the first ring: “You guys never picked up the donuts! We’re on our way over with them. It’s already eight-thirty, and we need to hit the road before you and Evie do!”

“Fuck, sorry man! We’re up now, thanks! See you in a few.” I say, already bracing myself for the inevitable chaos of being behind schedule.

I finish getting dressed and glance over at Liam, who’s wrestling with his sweats and ends up tumbling back onto the couch like he just lost a wrestling match.

“Did you get hot as fuck last night?” He grumbles as he stands back up putting his t-shirt over his head.

“Yeah, I need a fucking shower, I still feel like I have swamp ass!”

“You can do that after you get pipsqueak on board to leave. She is gonna need more than thirty minutes notice, and you know it will probably take you longer than that to convince her. Plus, I need coffee before I do anything.”
